Agaricus Blazei Mushroom [1] (Agaricus subrufescens, Agaricus brasiliensis, Agaricus rufotegulis, almond mushroom, mushroom of the sun, God’s mushroom, mushroom of life, royal sun agaricus, jisongrong, or himematsutake) is an edible species of mushroom related to the champignon (Agaricus bisporus).

Composition

Agaricus blazei Mushroom is rich in immunomodulating polysaccharides such as highly branched β-1,3-/1,6-glucans (beta-glucans) and proteoglycans (proteins the body uses to produce things like hyaluronic acid, collagen, and cartilage).[1:1]
